TAKORADI MALL
The Takoradi Mall is the first modern shopping mall in the whole of the Western Region. The Mall is situated in a prime location at the intersection of the city’s two busiest thoroughfares, next to the Takoradi Airport.
This shopping destination is poised to take full advantage of the increasing growth occurring in the heart of Ghana’s emerging oil industry.
The $40 million shopping mall is the first phase of an overall $66 million project. Phase 1 consists of 11,000 square meter floor space with 74 stores, 1,000 square meters of office space and 375 parking spaces.
The Mall is expected to provide over 1,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities for the people of Ghana.
All fresh fruits and vegetables stocked by Shoprite are purchased from local farmers to help boost local production.
Phase 2 of the project will comprise the development of 9-acre land into multi-purpose entertainment venues designed to be a one-stop shop for entertainment in the region.
