If it was any civilised country, John Dumelo’s political career would have been killed by his own comment—which grossly disrespects his own wife and almost every decent Ghanaian.
According to a comment John Dumelo posted on Instagram and ridiculously added his wife’s picture which sort of suggests that the wife is in agreement—because almost all Ghanaian men have side-chicks behind their wives, we should allow these men to marry many wives under the constitutional set up to enable them to elevate the side-chiks into becoming wives.
This is coming from a married man who probably does not respect his wife and has so many side chicks he wants to make official. And therefore, is openly suggesting or discussing this on social media.
John Dumelo, the aspiring Member of Parliament (MP) is asking Ghanaians to repeal the laws that support the Christian value of one man, one woman—to allow married men like him to elevate the status of their side-chicks into wives.
Upon realising his stupidity, he has now deleted the comment.
