
About two thousand aggrieved farmers at Maame Krobo in the Kwahu Afram Plains South District of the Eastern region are giving the government a week ultimatum to remove all Fulani herdsmen from their land.
The association of farmers in Maame Krobo in the Kwahu Afram plains has sent a strong signal to the government to remove all Fulani herdsmen from their land.
According to them, the cattle have been grazing their farm produce.
Speaking to the Chief of Kwahu Abetifi, Nana Akyemfour Asiedu Agyemang, said the activities of the Fulani herdsmen have destroyed their farm produce.
He added their attitude has become uncomfortable for them to stay with them, therefore calling on the government to relocate them.
Meanwhile, a member of the folder banks Nana Adu Paako, said herdsmen have refused to send their cattle to the folder banks which has led to the destruction of farm produce.
