Eastgate Hotel Wins Most Resilient Hotel of the Year 2021

Eastgate Hotel Ghana has emerged as the Most Resilient Hotel of the Year 2021 (One-Star Category) at the just ended 5th edition of the Ghana Hotels Association (GHA) Awards held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.

Interacting with journalists after the event, Mrs Frieda Demor Nwokolo, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the hotel, expressed gratitude to her cherished customers, staff of the hotel and its management team for their massive support particularly, through the toughest period of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It was a tough category I would say! First, I would like to thank God for always answering my prayers. As a hotel, it has not been easy in this COVID- 19 era, it takes a lot of sacrifices, hard work to sustain a brand, and we are very grateful to all for acknowledging our efforts“, she stressed.

She was confidential about the prospects of the year and used the opportunity to urge all customers to continue visiting the Eastgate Hotel for amazing services and to support the industry in every little way they can.

This year’s Ghana Hotels Association Awards organized by the GHA was under the theme, “Resilience” and saw a lot of industry players including the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr Mark Okraku Mantey coming together to promote quality standards in the hospitality sector.
