Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) in collaboration with the Kwahu Traditional Council has launched the 2022 Kwahu Easter and Paragliding Festival at Kwahu Abene in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region.
The launch of the festival brought together Nananom and Queenmothers from the Kwahu enclave.
Speaking to the media, the Chief of Kwahu Pepease who doubles as the kyidomhene of Kwahu Traditional Area, Nana Ayirepe Bonsu, who spoke on behalf of Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong, Kwahumanhene said, this year’s festival is expected to attract festive revellers from all over the world.
He charged the public to get vaccinated to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and assured the general public of effective security during the celebration.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Ghana Tourism Authority, Akwasi Agyemang said activities of the celebration would be outlined.
