The Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) in the Western Region is announcing to all Managers, staff, customers, and the general public that the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) will be undertaking planned maintenance works at their Substations at Daboase and Inchaban on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
The exercise is expected to interrupt the power supply to the Water Treatment Plants at Daboase and Inchaban.
As a result of this power interruption to the Plants, there will be no water supply from Daboase and Inchaban Treatment Plants from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
The affected areas are the entire Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis, Shama, Inchaban, and Daboase.
Management, therefore, entreats all valued customers to endeavor to store water ahead of the interruption.
Any inconvenience occasioned by this interruption is deeply regretted.
