Touching on the event for this year, he said it started with the Judas Procession on Friday morning, which was followed by an open house street party all to be held at Enam-Ase near the Naval Base.
The much-anticipated community Soccer Gala competition comes off with eight (8) communities at the Adiembra Astroturf and Sekondi Methodist park on Easter Saturday and Sunday respectively.
He added that today, Easter Saturday, the Sekunde Masquerades Parade which is the “Yesu Asor” carnival will happen with over eighty (80) Casquerading Clubs in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis participating with the able support from Jabali VIP Liquor in front of Ahantaman Rural Bank.
Party in the City, which is one of the new activities rolled out by Skyy Power FM this year to redefine the celebration of Easter in Sekondi is a 3-day clubbing experience for holiday lovers to patronize “Yesu Asor” in Sekondi coupled with the Music Festival on Easter Saturday and a climax with Westgold Essei Lagoon Side party on Easter Monday which is also supported by Schweppes.
Mr Gawu reiterated that the 2022 “Yesu Asor” activities being served by Skyy Media Group are also to celebrate the 25th Anniversary with the good people of Sekondi and its environs and to appreciate them for making the radio station Western Region’s all-time favourite.
