The Ghana Trade Fair Centre (GTFC) has launched its Grand Sales Bazaar 2022 with the objective to increase sales of micro and small-scale (MSMEs) businesses in Ghana.
The GTFC in partnership with the West Hills Mall launched this year’s Grand sales scheduled to take place at the West Hills Mall from 31st August – 4th September 2022.
According to the organizers, the Fair is to present an opportunity for micro and small-scale businesses to exhibit their products.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GTFC, Dr Agnes Adu in her address indicated that the Fair will give exposure to Ghanaian local businesses, promote them and increase sales.
She said, the Ghana Trade Fair Centre has diverse fairs including the international fair which seeks to create the avenue for businesses to network.
However, she added that the grand sales is to create opportunity for micro and small scale businesses to showcase their products and boost sales and as well prepare for the upcoming Christmas.
She, therefore, urged all Ghanaian businesses especially, micro and small-scale businesses to take advantage of the Fair to grow their businesses.
Ms Maria Lovelace Johnson, Director of Inspectorate Directorate at the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) encouraged customers and the public to participate in the Fair since the FDA will ensure that the products meet standards.
She said, however, that the presence of the FDA was not to intimidate companies but to encourage them and ease the processes of FDA registration.
