Kings Furniture Company Limited, a provider of domestic furniture and fixtures with its headquarters in Takoradi in the Western Region has been adjudged the Furniture Manufacturing Company of the Year at the 2022 Ghana Business Standard Awards (GBSA) held in Accra.
The 2022 Ghana Business Standard Awards ceremony was under the theme, “Celebrating Organizations Committed to Remarkable Business Standards Geared Towards Sustainable Growth”.
The Ghana Business Standard Awards seeks to celebrate organisations committed to remarkable business standards in their sectors and industry leaders breaking barriers of excellence across the Ghanaian business space and the world at large.
The Awards event which was organised by KN Unique Communications in partnership with Zeliatte Media, West Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WACCI) and Strategic Accountancy Africa (SAA) honoured forty-three (43) top companies and individuals in Ghana across various award categories in all.
Some of the awardees included Anglogold Ashanti-Iduapriem Mine Ghana, GNPC Foundation, Ghana Post Limited and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA).
According to the organisers, the awards scheme provides a platform to encourage the introduction of standard processes, services or products and the improvement of existing methods or practices to affect positive change in businesses in Ghana.
Speaking to the IGOGHANA on the Awards, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kings Furniture, Mr Ekow Nkrumah-Bentum indicated that as Ghana’s favourite manufacturer of domestic furniture, this feat achieved feeds into the company’s vision to explore the magic of wood by setting a standard in the industry.
He divulged that the company serves as a home of quality and durable furniture and products at competitive prices, with friendly and very accommodating customer service coupled with delivery services.
He pointed out that over the years Kings Furniture has produced high-quality furniture for government establishments, private institutions and individuals with the application of technology and excellent service.
Mr Nkrumah-Bentum disclosed that the company was now into the manufacturing, importation/exportation and supply of quality and affordable domestic, educational and office furnishing wares and appliances.
Kings’ Furniture, which was established about three decades ago is noted for its hard work and perseverance in the Ghanaian business terrain.
The Company is one of the three (3) conglomerates of the Kings Group of Companies which comprises Kings Deco Limited and Kings Byte Company Limited with two manufacturing sites and showrooms in Takoradi and Accra.
