
A reputable construction company is looking to employ a General Manager for its operations.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure proper adherence to operational standards and drive the business’s growth through prompt execution of contracts and projects. Enhance relationships with clients and lead negotiations.
Job Functions:
Evaluating contracts/projects cost and profit expected and certifying for execution.
Managing stock control and inventory checks.
Monitoring budgets and budgetary changes. Communicating changes in an orderly process to relevant parties.
Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed.
Creating and monitoring projects and teams.
Reviewing workloads and workforce to ensure targets are met.
Supporting the Managing Director and executive team’s vision and process ideals.
Ensuring staff working on processes are operating efficiently.
Ensuring total coordination of all facets of the business.
Ensuring deadlines for Contracts/Projects executions are met. Providing periodical reports on operations to Managing Director.
Monitoring, evaluating and recommending standards for operations.
Checking on the quality, quantity and delivery of product supplies to the customers.
Perform other duties assigned by Managing Director.
Qualification & Experience:
Minimum qualification required is First Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. With at least five (5) years of relevant experience in a management role. Good negotiation skills. Good managerial skills. Ability to drive with license class ‘B’ will be a plus.
