The Ho Expo 2022, a platform for the local people to meet businessmen from all spheres of life to create the necessary synergies for the industrial takeoff in the Municipality is expected to be officially opened tomorrow Thursday, September 1 by the Vice-President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Ho Expo 2022 event is intended to create land, housing, agribusiness and tourism awareness in the region and is expected to bring development through the exhibition of properties, agribusiness products and tourist sites as well as promote the region as a tourist destination.
The Expo targets participants such as Real Estate Industry players across the country, tourism and hospitality businesses, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), agribusinesses, agrochemical businesses and potential business partners both locally and internationally.
Ho Expo has been designed to tell the untold story of Ho in the areas of agribusiness, trade, health tourism, tourism and culture, and real estate among others.
The Expo is expected to have about two hundred (200) exhibitors from all over the region and the country for the two weeks period.
Exhibitors who spoke with IGOGHANA in an interview expressed the hope to have good sales and the opportunity to expose their products to the world while creating networks.
Mr Divine K Bosson, MCE for Ho Municipality has said that the Expo was bent on selling the Municipality to the local people and the international community to lure them to come and do business in the Municipality.
He pointed out that proceeds and gains that would accrue from the Expo will be used to construct the ‘500 Steps Oxygen City Project’ which is earmarked to take place at the “Galen Quito Mountain”.
The Galen Quito Mountain is a historical mountain in the Municipality where one of the German Deputy Governors had his home.
