Justmax Travel and Tours in Takoradi, an award-winning travel and tour company, and igoghana, Ghana’s authoritative travel guide have announced their readiness to climax this year’s Ghana Month Campaign in a way that will highlight Ghana’s cultural impacts.
The campaign’s main goals are to promote the nation’s native goods and services and to honor its extensive cultural heritage.
As we mobilize to increase the gains in tourism and hospitality after a protracted devastating break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the goal of this year’s campaign is to highlight the importance of using locally produced goods and services.
Mr. Seth Ameyaw Danquah, Tour Manager for Justmax Travels, emphasized the campaign’s impact by pointing out that Ghana stands to benefit economically from Ghanaians using goods and services provided by local businesses.
Therefore, as we conclude the Ghana Month celebration, he urged Ghanaians to visit the art galleries, meet the artists, discovers the art scenes, and experience the vibe using Ghanaian slang.
“Also, our adults and the museums should help the general public relive history by having them sing along to patriotic songs from various historical periods, such as Ghana’s independence.
He also declared March to be “Wear Ghana Month” and stressed the importance of promoting it locally and internationally in order to turn Ghana into a popular tourist destination through clothing.
To cap off the celebration, Mr. Danquah urged Ghanaians to be patriotic and wear anything made in Ghana, including our shoes, bags, and beads, among other items.
He made a suggestion that company employees would dress in local attires and other items, and he urged clients to buy local prints because this was the only way Ghanaian fashion could advance and have an effect on our country’s economy.
Regarding the function of igoghana, he mentioned that the news portal would feature profiles of some historical landmarks and monuments as well as some individuals to promote them to a wider audience.
He added that there would be quizzes about some of our historical sites and figures on Justmax’s social media accounts, and followers could answer them to enter to win prizes.
