
Business owners and actors in the Western Region gathered at the 2023 Business Expo organized by the WRCC Investment Center under the Western Regional Coordinating Council (WRCC) to share ideas to improve their operations.
The Business Expo partnered by Star Ghana and seeks to explore the potential of trade and industries for sustainable development and serves as a platform for ideas, investment, and growth, promoting resilient economic progress in Africa.

Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah in an address commended Star Ghana for partnering with the event in the past two years and evolving its awards event to include conversations that were intended to discuss new trends in business and to offer solutions to the never-ending challenges of business and private sector endeavors.
He recounted that in 2019 when he became the Western Regional Minister, with the tacit support of all the staff of the WRCC they embarked on a journey to focus on ways that will make the private sector the new pathway to generate growth in business in the Region.
“For we believed that the best efforts of the government can only be complimented better and more effectively only by the private sector. We took the agenda of focusing on the private sector to the churches”, he emphasized.
